Our mission is to strive on behalf of our members for the development, profitability, and sustainability of commercial agriculture in the Mpumalanga province through our involvement and inputs at provincial and national policy level.

Our objectives include:

Striving towards creating a purposeful and cost-effective platform for organisations, which are representative of the spectrum of operations with a direct interest in achieving the mission and which endorse its Constitution as well as value system, so as to facilitate member participation, co-ordinate viewpoints and plan and drive collective action.
To co-operate, affiliate or federate with other organisations within and outside Mpumalanga and to build and maintain networking relations with organisations or stakeholders, which could contribute towards achieving the mission.
To present the co-ordinated view of its members to any organisation, as well as the government or other authorities, and to co-operate with them in all matters affecting the welfare and development of the commercial agricultural industry, including the introduction of appropriate policy, legislation, services, or programmes.
With a view to informed participation and decision-making, to communicate effectively with its members and agricultural producers about its activities, as well as with external parties and the general public to create an understanding and appreciation for commercial agriculture’s contributions, challenges and needs.
To perform all actions which, in the view of the Congress and General Council, have a bearing on or contribute to the achievement of the Organisation’s mission, or to take such action which, in the opinion of the Congress and the General Council, could be in the direct or indirect interest of the agricultural industry.
To honour in an appropriate manner those persons who had rendered a special service to the Organisation and/or to agriculture: Provided that no rights shall accrue to such persons in terms of this Constitution.
To have access to sufficient financial resources, bearing in mind the importance of voluntary member contributions for the legitimacy of the Organisation as representative organisation, which shall ensure that the Organisation is able to deliver on its mandate on an ongoing basis.
The development of the agricultural industry, including conservation of soil and water within the province, the maintenance and enhancement of soil fertility and the improvement of production methods.
